Anne Lovejoy Poet and Teacher

Now retired from formal education, Anne is a member of The Quantock Poets and published her first poetry book in 2024 - ‘Opening the Memory Box - Poems inspired by walks in the Quantocks, the landscape and memory surrounding us in West Somerset. This collection was inspired by walks in the Quantocks and is her culmination of the Quantock Poetry Trail project, led by Bristol-based poet abnd audio designer Ralph Hoyte. The Quantock Trail poems have been digitally embedded into the actual Quantock landscape, discoverable through a smart phone as audio. She is one of the founder members and chair of Words in Watchet.
